A business card is your customer’s first impression of your company. If your business cards are not professional and appropriate for your industry your prospective customer is not going to walk away with a great first impression. Besides looking professional your business cards also need to be industry appropriate. For instance if you are a graphic designer you may want a colorful creative business card to convey creativity to your prospective customers. If you are a lawyer you may choose to go with a linen or classic crest paper with raised lettering (thermography) and possibly even embossed or foil stamped. This type of business card screams professional to your clients. As with all business expenditures cost is usually a large concern especially in our current economy. Business Cards start at around $50 for 1000 full color digitally offset printed cards on 14pt – 16pt stock or 500 one color thermography on raglan paper stock. Foil stamped and embossed cards come at a premium price but are very impressive to clients. these can range anywhere from $100 – $400 per 500.  When ordering business cards you want to be sure to clarify all the details with the printing company. Never have business cards printed on anything less than a 14 pt card stock when dealing with full color. The 12pt card stock that a lot of printers use is too flimsy and looks and feels cheap. Not the impression you want to give prospective customers. Please call us at (512) 501-6324 if you have any questions about business cards or any other printed marketing materials.
